When you have hundreds of images to localize into more than 26 languages, automating the localization of Simplified User Interface (SUI) graphics becomes a must before implementing this approach to screenshots. Over the years, we have implemented different solutions as we changed our authoring and localization tools, and we can present alternative options that most authoring environments can support. Most importantly, an approach that can be adapted to most tools.
In this presentation, we will show you how we introduced smart SUI graphics in our documentation using variables to ensure that the displayed text is always up to date. We will also present how we adapted our first solution, when we changed the authoring tools, proving that the key is in having a solid concept, a good collaboration between the CCMS design team and the Language Operations team, and clear ownership of the process.

- Real-life examples of SUI graphics that keep the source updated and automate localization.
- How to use SI graphics efficiently if you must translate images.
