I will talk about usability testing. My understanding of this concept is much broader than traditionally accepted. I include here any research involving users who interact or think about a product. I will share several examples that illustrate different approaches to testing and insuring the usability of documentation: testing a tutorial, testing a scenario with the product and observing how people use the documentation, and card sorting to redesign the information architecture of the documentation. I will end with some tips.
I am a usability practitioner. I am currently helping the teams behind SAP Cloud Platform make the platform easier to use and better fit to the needs of users. I am fascinated by the human side of chatbots. I am fighting small UX battles every day.
