Die Normenlandschaft in der Technischen Kommunikation ist in Bewegung und wird immer vielfältiger, internationaler und bedeutender. Anwender von Normen müssen Grundnormen wie IEC/IEEE 82079-1, Normen aus der eigenen Branche wie Maschinenbau, Software oder Medizintechnik sowie dokumentationsspezifische Normen zu Terminologie, Visualisierung, Klassifizierung oder Informationsmanagement auf internationaler Ebene unter einen Hut bringen.

The standards landscape in technical communication is in motion and is becoming increasingly diverse, international and significant. Users of standards must reconcile basic standards such as IEC/IEEE 82079-1, standards from their own industry such as mechanical engineering, software or medical technology, and documentation-specific standards on terminology, visualization, classification or information management at the international level.

Biography

Diplomphysiker, seit 1999 Berater für Technische Dokumentation zu Standardisierung, Konformität und Veränderung, tekom-Beirat Recht und Normen, DocCert-Auditor TÜV SÜD. Er lehrt Qualitätssicherung an der Hochschule Furtwangen und arbeitet international in der Normung zur IEC 82079-Reihe.

 

Graduate physicist, consultant for technical documentation on standardization, conformity and change since 1999, tekom advisory board law and standards, DocCert auditor TÜV SÜD. He teaches quality assurance at Furtwangen University and works internationally in standardization on the IEC 82079 series.

Biography

Claudia Klumpp ist studierte Juristin und Betriebswirtin. Nach mehrjähriger Tätigkeit als Rechtsanwältin und Rechtsberaterin ist sie seit 2013 bei den Fachverbänden tekom Deutschland und dem europäischen Verband für Technische Kommunikation – tekom Europe.

 

Claudia Klumpp holds a degree in law and business administration. After working as a lawyer and legal advisor for several years, she has been with the trade associations Gesellschaft für Technische Kommunikation – tekom Deutschland and the European Association for Technical Communication – tekom Europe since 2013. She oversees the standardization work of both associations at both the national and international level. Since 2020, Claudia has been deputy managing director of tekom Deutschland. She also lectures on legal and normative requirements for technical communication for students at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
