Registration tcworld conference and fair

You can register for the conference via our booking portal EM.EX. There, you can purchase a ticket and receive access to the conference and our conference program by email.

You can purchase access to the conference here.

 

 

You can register for the trade fair via our booking portal EM.EX. The ticket to the fair is free of charge.

Conference participants will also receive access to the trade fair.

You can get access to the trade fair here.

No. As soon as you have received access to the conference, you can take part in the trade fair with the same access data.

 

If you are logged into 'my conference tool', you will see an overview of all events for which you have reserved seats and can manage them from here. Here, you can cancel your seats for individual events.

You can also see all current events for which you have reserved seats and enter the event room directly. In addition, you will find past events here and view them again after the conference.

You can register on 'my conference tool' with your existing tekom login data, but you cannot reserve a place in events if you do not have a ticket for the conference. You can purchase a ticket for the conference here.

 

User account and login

The login is necessary to participate in tcworld conference 2020. By logging in you enter the internal area 'my Conference Tool'. Many functions are available there.

Before the conference: Plan and design your conference visit individually. After purchasing your conference ticket, you will be able to reserve the events you want to attend from mid-September onwards.

During the conference: Via 'my Conference Tool' you can enter the virtual rooms of your previously reserved events.

After the conference: Watch recorded presentations, download presentation slides and give feedback.

No, you can either use your existing user account for 'my tekom' or 'my conference tool or you will receive access data for your automatically created user account from our conference team after purchasing your conference ticket.

Presentations and tutorials

The number of individual presentations for which you would like to reserve seats is unlimited.

 

Although the number of participants in the presentations is limited, we have made sure that there is sufficient capacity for all participants. If reservations for individual presentations are no longer possible due to high numbers of participants, please contact our service team here.

 

If you are registered for tcworld conference, you can reserve seats for presentations in the conference program, both in the tile view and in the list view. You do not need to log in before doing so.

Logged in - reserve a seat - this is how it works:

  •     After logging in, click on Conference Program in the main menu. The tile view of the conference program is displayed.
  •     Search for the individual event.
  •     Click on the tile. The detailed view is displayed.
  •     Select Reserve seat. You will receive a confirmation of the seat reservation. The single event is inserted in ˈmy Conference Programˈ

Not yet logged in - reserve a seat - this is how it works:

  •     Display the conference program.
  •     Select a single event.
  •     Click on the tile. The detailed view is displayed.
  •     Select Reserve Seat. The login dialog is displayed.
  •     Enter your login data. You will be logged in and at the same time a seat will be reserved for the individual event.

Tip: Click on ˈmy Conference Toolˈ, see the single event at ˈmy Conference Programˈ.

You will find the access links to the individual presentations in your personal conference program. Log in with your access data in 'my conference tool'. There, you can see the current events in 'my conference program'. The access links are available 10 minutes before the start of the presentation.

 

About 10 minutes before the start of each presentation, the icon to join appears to the right of each presentation. Click on this icon and you will be redirected to "Go2Webinar". Now enter your name and email address and join in. Your name and email address will only be visible to the organizers of the presentation.

 

With the tool "Go2Webinar" you can use your question/chat window during a presentation to ask the speakers questions or leave comments for the moderators. During the presentation, you cannot exchange information with the other participants. However, directly after the presentation, we offer all participants the option to exchange information via our event app. You will receive access to this event app in good time before the conference begins. There, we can offer you a chat for the respective presentations.

 

The recordings of the events are available to conference participants starting the following day. You can view the recordings of all events, whether you attended the event or not. Log in to 'my conference tool' and you will see the recordings in the following places:

- Conference program in the list view

- Event details

- 'my conference program'

The recordings will be available until January 31, 2021.

Event app

The event app is based on the Swapcard platform. Chats are held using the event app after the conference presentations. The virtual fair, including the tool presentations, takes place via this event app. Additionally, you can network with other visitors and make appointments with exhibitors. Participation on the platform is voluntary and is an extension of our offering; the use of the event app is not a prerequisite for participation in the events of the conference.

 

No. The event app 'Swapcard' is a free extension of our offering for the virtual conference. It gives you direct access to the conference chats with the conference participants and speakers after the events, thus providing you with a platform to exchange ideas with other participants or experts

 

No. In order to participate in the chats of your professional colleagues at the various presentations, you need a ticket for tcworld conference.

The event app is a platform. It can be accessed via the web or smartphone. You will receive an activation link from us by e-mail. Alternatively, you can register directly at swapcard.com using the e-mail address with which you registered for the event. You will then be automatically assigned to the event.

 

By activating your profile you will assign yourself a password and can now actively design your profile and edit your data.

 

By using the app we want to enable participants to network in a virtual environment, both with other participants and with exhibitors and speakers. The app offers search functions and AI-based "matchmaking". The more information you fill out, the more accurate the contact suggestions can be.

 

Of course, networking works best when as many participants as possible actively participate. However, if you want to use the functions of the Event App without networking, you can always remove your visibility for other participants.

 

Café tekom

In Café tekom you can network by sitting down at one of the tables there and participating in the exchange. You have the choice between 

  • open tables (free exchange)
  • Thematic tables (topic-related exchange)
  • Expert tables (meet the experts at certain times here)
  • Country Organization tables (network within your regional group)

You can also participate in the flash mob for the action "We're all in the same boat".

If you have problems with Café tekom, please contact the support of the provider HelloChat. You can find the support on the login page or in your profile.

 

  • Please make sure that you are logged out of other applications that require camera and microphone.
  • Please log out and log in again. Then the valid camera and audio settings will be applied.

You only have to enter the ticket code once. Come back to Café tekom, If you come back to Café tekom, click on "Jetzt einloggen" and use your access data.

 

With the full text search you can search for example by first name, last name or topic.

 

You will receive a ticket code by e-mail. If this is your first visit to Café Tekom, enter the code and assign a password.  If you come back to the café, click on "Jetzt einloggen".

 

How can I find and join a special interest table?

Systems and System Requirements

Emendo is the booking platform for the conference and trade fair. There, you can buy a ticket for the conference or get access to the fair.

  • Browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari
  • Not recommended: Internet Explorer

Access to the conference takes place via the tekom platform 'my conference tool'. This is the central location for conference participation. You can reserve and cancel places for individual events and switch to the conference rooms. For 'my conference tool', you use your existing login data from 'my tekom' or 'my conference tool'. If you do not have an existing login when booking the conference or trade fair, you will receive an email with the relevant information.

You can switch from 'my conference tool' to the virtual event rooms and the event app without any further login.

  • Not recommended: Internet Explorer

 

For the presentations and tutorials, we use the GoToWebinar platform of the software provider LogMeIn. Information about the technical requirements as well as a short guide to registration and usage can be found here.

Please note the system requirements. Ideally, find out in advance whether your computer or mobile device meets them. Only if the technical requirements are met can a smooth process be guaranteed.
