Undertaking large projects to rethink your documentation portal can be time-consuming and difficult, but can have lasting benefits. In this presentation, we will discuss our experience undertaking one of these projects, where we migrated our documentation to a single-sourced project and increased efficiency by 12x, created a smart version selection, and personalized the content shown based on the user's platform.

Takeaways

You will learn about:

  • Managing large migration projects
  • Using single-sourcing to support multiple versions and platforms
  • Personalizing content for better user experience
  • Using consistent design language

Prior knowledge

No prior knowledge required, however users should be familiar with single-sourcing in general.
