Neural machine translation continues to improve, but there is still the need to look over and correct its results. This tutorial will look at some strategies that are useful in quickly detecting MT errors that go against defined style and terminology rules for technical translations, primarily using the tools and settings already available in Trados Studio. Some knowledge of regular expressions would be useful but is not required.
Takeaways
Increased proficiency in using the available verification settings in Trados Studio and increased efficiency during post-editing of technical translations.
Prior knowledge
Understanding of basic translation tools such as translation memory, termbases, etc. Knowledge of regular expressions would be useful but is not required.
