Buy Conference Ticket

Each person needs their own ticket. For most tickets, we offer multiple ticket purchase. This allows you to purchase multiple tickets for one day, for example.

 

Participants may cancel their participation in accordance with the following provisions:

  • Cancellations up to four weeks before the start of the conference are free of charge for participants.
  • No cancellation fee is charged if the cancellation is carried out up to four weeks before the conference starts. For alle subsequent cancellations, we charge a processing fee of 90 Euro plus VAT, regardless of the reasons for cancelling. If the cancellation is carried out later than October 30, 2024 or while the conference is in progress, the entire conference fee is due, or if the conference fee has already been paid, it will not be refunded.
  • If a participant fails to attend without canceling or for reasons covered by these Genral Terms and Conditions or by law, the full participation fees will be due.
  • In the event of illness
    • the ticket cannot be transferred to a third party free of charge.
    • the ticket may be canceled free of charge with evidence of illness. For this purpose, evidence of illness must be promptly provided in the form of a medical certificate, otherwise the above cancellation conditions will apply. Your on-site ticket is also an online ticket. You will also receive online access for all days of your on-site ticket.

Example: You have bought an on-site ticket for Tuesday. You can access all sessions that are shown online on Tuesday. If you have purchased an overall conference ticket, you can view the online sessions on all days.

If you want to change your on-site ticket into an online-only ticket, you must cancel the on-site ticket and buy the online ticket in the ticket store.

You can cancel in the order overview if you have bought the ticket yourself.

The fair ticket is non-cancellable and non-transferable. Registration for the trade fair is binding and non-transferable. The participation fee is due upon registration. It is payable immediately via the online payment system or upon receipt of the invoice. Admission to the fair is only possible after payment has been made.

You must create a user account to redeem the registration code. Your user account is your digital identity. This gives you access to the organization and information area 'my Conference Tool', where you can, for example, reserve places in workshops, view recordings or retrieve your e-ticket according to the features of your purchased ticket.

Please note: Purchase on account of conference tickets for tcworld conference 2024 is only possible until 10/22/2024.

How will I receive my invoice? 
You will always receive the invoice with payment information directly after placing your order separately by email from the following email address: no-reply@technical-communication.org

Can I also receive the invoice by postal mail? 
In the interest of environmental protection, we send invoices exclusively by email. We thank you for your understanding. However, if it is absolutely necessary for you to receive your invoice by mail, please contact accounting.tcworlddontospamme@gowaway.tekom.org.

In the event of illness: The ticket can be canceled free of charge with proof of illness. For this purpose, the illness must be proven immediately by submitting a medical certificate; otherwise, the cancellation conditions listed below apply.

You can cancel your ticket online. To do so, log in to 'my Conference Tool'.

  1. To do so, log in to 'my Conference Tool'.
  2. After logging in, click on 'Order Overview' in the main menu 'Tickets'.
  3. You will see your tickets as orders with date, order number, subject, status and a blue i-icon.
  4. Click on the i-icon, then your invoices for the order will appear. There is a check mark at the end. Click on the check mark and select 'Cancel'.
  1. After ordering a ticket you will receive an email with your registration code for the conference tool.
  2. Log in to 'my Conference Tool' or create a user account.
  3. After logging in, click on 'redeem registration code' in the main menu 'Tickets' and enter your code from the mail without spaces to redeem it. Once you redeem the registration code, you will be participant:in for an online ticket.
  4. If you have an on-site ticket, you will receive your ticket by e-mail after approx. 5-10 minutes or you can download it at any time in the conference tool under 'My tickets for tcworld conference 2024'.
  5. Please bring your ticket to the conference and have it ready for scanning at the entrance.
  6. Your participant badge will be printed.
  7. You will receive your invoice in a separate email as a PDF, to the billing address you provided.

If participants who are consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) exercise their right of statutory cancellation, the provisions governing cancellation and its legal consequences shall take precedence.

You will always receive the invoice with the payment information directly after the order separately by e-mail from the following e-mail address: noreplydontospamme@gowaway.tekom-webforum.de.

You have two options for downloading or retrieving your ticket:

  1. After purchasing your ticket, you will receive an email with the ticket attached. Please bring this ticket either printed or in electronic form to the tcworld conference 2024 and present it at the entrance.

  2. Alternatively, you can log in to 'my conference tool' and download your ticket under the tab 'My Tickets for tcworld conference 2024.'

Please note that you can only attend the conference if your ticket has been fully paid. Otherwise, access to the conference will not be granted.

What payment options do I have?
We offer the following payment methods: credit card, PayPal, and on account (only until 04/11/2024).

Payment by credit card
You can conveniently pay for your purchase by credit card. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards.

Can I change the selected payment method later?
Unfortunately, a subsequent change of payment method is not possible. However, you have the additional option of requesting a pay link for a card payment via the following email address: accounting.tcworlddontospamme@gowaway.tekom.org. 

Concardis is our payment service provider, to which you will be automatically redirected after selecting the payment method.
