Nathalie Betz studied computational linguistics and was already involved with philosophy and ontologies in particular. Having arrived in the working world, she helped to create the idea of ONTOLIS: A combination of methods from software development, ontologies and the domain of technical documentation. Since then, she has mainly managed internal projects with a special focus on conceptualization and usability. Her personal philosophy is to improve the life of the documentation team through optimal system support and to highlight the relevance of the documentation team in the entire product development process.
