Prof. Dr. Birgitta Meex

Birgitta Meex is a professor of German and Applied Linguistics at KU Leuven, where she teaches German grammar, business German and Technical and Professional Communication. Her research focuses on writing and reading processes in technical communication, writing for localization, the use of language in UX design, technical communication pedagogy, and discourse-analytical aspects of technical communication. She was a partner in the EU-funded project TecCOMFrame from 2015 to 2018. She is a founding member and the delegate of tekom Belgium and a tekom Certified Trainer in Technical Communication.
