Tarek Martin El Hawi is an experienced lawyer and Senior Legal Counsel at ZVEI. Previously, he worked at the German Bundestag, where he was involved with parliamentary processes and legislative procedures. He also gained professional experience at an international law firm, providing legal advice in business law. Additionally, he worked at the Federal Foreign Office, dealing with international legal issues. At ZVEI, he is primarily responsible for legal matters related to EU product law. His tasks include supporting the industry in complying with legal requirements and shaping legal frameworks at the European level. Through his work in various institutions, he has gained extensive expertise in European and international law as well as technical law. His work helps to legally represent the interests of the german electro and digital industry.
