Julia Herrmann knows technical communication not from theory, but from 15 years of hands-on practice – in the real world where good ideas quickly turn into complex documentation systems. She has experienced the friction points firsthand and developed a deep understanding of where systems truly support users, and where they tend to slow things down. In 2021, she moved into IT consulting at EC Systems, bringing this perspective directly into CCMS implementations, usage concepts, and data models. Today, she leads product management for Smart Media Creator and JAMES CDS, with the ambition to design technical communication that doesn’t just work, but is truly understood: simple, efficient, and effective.
