Prof. Dr. Rachel Herwartz is Professor of Translation and Terminology Management at SDI Munich and lecturer in Business Informatics and AI-supported business processes at FOM University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. As a consultant at LangOps Intelligence in Cologne and founder of TermTechnologies gUG, she advises organizations on the development of AI Terminology Governance and modern Language Operations strategies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, terminology, content processes, and corporate communication. Her work focuses particularly on governance models for AI-supported technical communication, multilingual content creation, and the controlled use of generative AI in enterprise environments. In addition, she is a frequent speaker and expert at professional events organized by tekom, BDÜ, DTT, and QSD.
