Vita

Alexander Holste (ORCID 0000-0001-5908-1587) is a Full Professor of Multilingual Specialized Communication at the TH Köln. Habilitation thesis (2023) on “Automated Knowledge Communication“ at the University of Hildesheim, PhD thesis (Dr. phil. 2019) on multimodal, interdisciplinary writing in tendering processes at the University of Duisburg-Essen. His research interests lie in the fields of specialized communication and knowledge construction, especially in multimodality, in multilingualism, and in human-computer interaction as part of specialized communication. He worked in the technical editorial team at Deutsche Bahn and collaborates in projects with companies and administrative institutions.
