Training in high-frequency technology and aeronautical engineering. Technical work; editing and creation of documents for German Air Force Technical Orders (GAFTO); initial experience of technical documentation. Studied energy technology, followed by professional experience as a technical editor and subsequently as a technical manager specialising in documentation and translation services. Managing director of SL innovativ GmbH since 2000. Deputy chair of the VDI 4500 guidelines committee. Active participant in VDMA and DIN working groups dedicated to technical documentation. Extensive experience of international documentation (EU, Russia, USA, Brazil, China, etc.). Publicly appointed and sworn expert in technical documentation by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK); member and deputy chair of the IHK examination board; honorary labour judge.
