Vita

Christian Lang has extensive experience in language technology with a strong focus on machine translation and deep learning. He holds a degree in Japanese Studies and an MA in Translation Studies, specializing in neural machine translation and deep-learning methods for NLP. He first worked with terminology management as a freelance translator for the European Patent Office and later contributed to a University of Vienna research project on AI-based terminology extraction. Since 2022, he has been part of Professional Services at Kaleidoscope, implementing Quickterm as an enterprise terminology management platform. He also founded and leads Kaleidoscope’s AI Labs and is driving the concept of Terminology‑Augmented Generation to integrate terminology into GenAI applications.
