Vita

Kira Leuthold is the founder of The Gondola, the leading UX writing center of excellence in the German-speaking world. Since its founding in 2024, she and her team have helped over 100 companies create outstanding digital experiences through UX writing. The professional development courses offered by The Gondola, which Kira leads as an instructor, have over 400 alumni, including a growing number of technical writers who are already practicing UX writing or looking to enter the field. 

Kira holds a master’s degree in Corporate Communication and Business Informatics, which she completed in three languages (German, French, English). Her places of study include the University of Fribourg (CH), the University of Technology Sydney (AU), and Stanford University (USA). Today, she teaches UX writing at various universities, including the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (FHGR) and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).

Kira lives near Zurich, is married, has two young children, and practices and teaches yoga in her free time.
