Vita

I hold an interim professorship (Translatology) at Leipzig University. I studied interpreting and translation at Saarland University where I also obtained my PhD and my habilitation (Applied Linguistics and English Linguistics). From 2011-2024, I worked at the Department of Language Science and Technology at Saarland University. Afterwards, I worked at Mannheim University in the field of English Linguistics/Diachronic Linguistics, initially in the context of an interim professorship. I joined Leipzig University in April 2026.
