Contents
In this presentation, our recent research efforts related to smart wearable devices and their user manuals are introduced. Our research group designed and carried out five series of tests, in which we addressed various aspects of user behavior and personal preference. The test participants were clustered based on their connection to user manuals: regular users, occupational users of manuals (e.g., developers), and technical writers.
Takeaways
The presentation provides insight to the state-of-the-art research on smart wearables and their user manuals, with particular focus on the quality and efficiency of user manuals.
Prior knowledge
The presentation will aim to be as inclusive as possible, i.e., the presented contents shall be independent of prior knowledge; it shall be accessible to every participant of the conference.
