Biography
As Technical Editor for English documentation at B&R Industrial Automation, I bring several years of experience developing and optimizing translation strategies for complex technical content. My work spans a wide range of domains—from control technology and engineering software to robotics and motion systems. I focus on identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions in terminology management, translation workflows, and content handling. Whether it’s refining review processes, improving tool integration, or eliminating repetitive tasks, my goal is to make technical communication smarter, faster, and more sustainable.
Biography
Jenny Paatz arbeitet seit 2012 bei der BSH Hausgeräte GmbH und ist dort im Bereich „Cooling“ als Technische Redakteurin zuständig für die Terminologie und für die Erstellung von Nutzungsinformationen. Sie hat „Kommunikation und Technische Dokumentation“ studiert und im Anschluss bei der Erhardt+Abt GmbH (Sondermaschinenbau) die Abteilung für Technische Dokumentation aufgebaut. Sie arbeitet ehrenamtlich in der Tekom AG TTK an der Tekom-Terminologiedatenbank und ist Teil des ISO-Gremiums zur Erarbeitung einer internationalen Norm für übersetzungsgerechtes Schreiben. Seit 2023 ist sie Tekom-Regionalgruppenleiterin der Regionalgruppe Alb-Donau. In ihrer Freizeit spiel sie Tischtennis, lernt Gitarre und singt in der BSH Bigband.
