Christian Lang verfügt über vielfältige Erfahrungen und Interessen im Sprachenbereich, wie schon seine Japanologie- und Übersetzungsstudien beweisen. Mit Terminologiemanagement hat er sich erstmals als freiberuflicher Übersetzer für das Europäische Patentamt beschäftigt. Mittlerweile ist es eines seiner Steckenpferde, genauso wie das Forschen im NLP-Bereich zu Themen wie etwa Machine Translation, Automatische Termextraktion und Concept Maps/Knowledge Graphs.

Christian Lang has a wealth of experience and interests in the field of languages. Holding a degree in Japanese Studies and a subsequent MA in Translation Studies, he cultivated a passion for terminology management as a freelance translator for the European Patent Office. He actively engages in research regarding the field of NLP and AI, continually exploring practical use cases for technologies like generative AI, machine translation, information retrieval (including automatic term extraction), concept maps, and knowledge graphs.
