Ira Rotzler arbeitet seit 2018 als Entwicklungsingenieur bei Porsche und verantwortet dort das Sachgebiet Text und Übersetzung für die Infotainment-Inhalte im Fahrzeug. Nebenher kümmert sie sich mit interessierten Kollegen und mit Unterstützung von blc um die Einführung einer Terminologiedatenbank sowie um dazugehörige Abstimmungsprozesse. Ihren Abschluss als Diplom-Übersetzerin für Chinesisch und Englisch hat sie 2011 am FTSK Germersheim der Uni Mainz gemacht und dann als Lehrerin an einem Gymnasium und als Berater für Lokalisierung Infotainment im Auftrag der Audi AG und der Porsche AG gearbeitet.
Vita
Ira Rotzler has been working as a development engineer at Porsche since 2018 and is responsible for the area of text and translation for infotainment software content in the vehicle. Additionally, she collaborates with interested colleagues and, with the support of blc, manages the introduction of a terminology database as well as the associated coordination processes. She completed her degree as a certified translator for Chinese and English in 2011 at the FTSK Germersheim of the University of Mainz and subsequently worked as a teacher at a grammar school and as a consultant for infotainment localisation on behalf of Audi AG and Porsche AG.
