Kick-off on Tuesday: tekom Insights

On Tuesday, November 10, 2026, the tekom fair kicks-off with a special insight into the association itself. In the morning, the Application Stage tekom Insights will introduce tekom and provide an outlook on current topics, services, and developments within the community.

The program features contributions from the Advisory Board for Education and Training, the Advisory Board Young Professionals, a presentation on digital Technical Communication, and iiRDS. tekom Managing Director Eugen Styrz will also be part of the program: Under the title “Change, Digitalization, and the Future of the Community,” this session will address the changes affecting the industry and its stakeholders and explore how tekom and its community can prepare for the future. Finally there will also be a contribution from tekom Europe.

Two Stages, Many Perspectives

Following the opening session, exhibitors will present practical solutions related to the respective daily topic on the Application Stage. The focus is therefore not just on the product itself, but above all on the question: How can a solution be applied in practice, and what added value does it offer in everyday work?

On the Solution Stage – featuring AI Readiness on Tuesday and Digital Product Passport on Wednesday – exhibitors will present their tools, products, and services in short pitches. This gives visitors a concise overview of new offerings and helps them quickly identify which solutions could be relevant to their own requirements.

A special program awaits visitors on the third day of the tekom fair: In cooperation with World Usability Day (WUD), the WUD Stage will take place. Key topics include accessible and sustainable products and innovations. This puts issues at the center of attention that are becoming increasingly important for the future of digital and technical communication.

Overall, the fair program offers a variety of ways to stay informed – from insights into tekom and its community, to short product pitches and practical solutions, to future-oriented topics such as usability, accessibility, and sustainability.
