Michael Valent has been a technical writer in the software sector for 25 years. Prior to that, he gained experience in writing and publishing as a freelance journalist. His speciality is ‘from chaos to cosmos’ – he has already guided several companies from having almost no documentation, or completely unstructured documentation, to a suitable documentation framework. Another of his areas of expertise is agile methods in technical communication. In addition, he has also been a member of the board of tekom Austria since 2017, currently serving as vice-president, and is a co-organiser of events such as the annual 3-Country Conference near Lake Constance.
