Consistent and accurate terminology is a must for multilingual TechDocs. But
time and budget constraints often work against our best intentions. Enter AI and
the perspective may change: In our presentation, we show you some real-world
applications: We can use AI to harvest terminology from source texts and even
automatically cluster it into concepts with "rejected" terms.
After review, we can use AI again to correct our source content automatically.
With even more AI, we can extract the correct target-language equivalents and
pass them on to the translation supply chain. And if you are already using AI to
generate or translate content, we can also feed terminology into those processes to make the output linguistically correct.

Takeaways

Attendees will learn how to quickly generate terminology from technical documentation, identify inconsistencies and fix those in the documentation, with
the help of AI.

Klaus Fleischmann studierte Konferenzdolmetschen in Wien und Monterey, USA, sowie Technische Kommunikation in Krems. 1996 gründete er und leitet seither die Kaleidoscope GmbH als System- und Beratungshaus für Global Content mit führenden Softwarelösungen für Terminologie-, Qualitäts-, Rückfragen- und Reviewmanagement. Seit 2007 ist er CEO der eurocom Translation Services GmbH in Wien.
