The Steering Committee Chair and the Conveners of the working groups “Development”, “Tools – Validation – Content” and “Standards” present the developments of iiRDS in 2022. In July, two new projects started: the development of an iiRDS Validation Tool and the improvement of terminology e.g. by harmonizing definitions of classes, instances, and properties of the iiRDS Schema. The Working Group Conveners are reporting on the status and results of these projects.

Biography

Mark is a technical consultant at parson and supports clients from the software industry regarding authoring tools and publishing solutions. DITA, DocBook, and other document type definitions are part of his daily routine. Due to his experience as a technical writer, he knows XML-based authoring firsthand. Mark has been an acting member of the iiRDS working group from the start.

Biography

Michael Fritz ist promovierter Medienwissenschaftler und Betriebswirt mit Schwerpunkt Marketing. Er arbeitete für verschiedene Verbände, z.B. als Leiter eines Instituts für lebenslanges Lernen. Seit 1996 ist er CEO des tekom Deutschland e.V. und seit 2013 auch CEO der tekom Europe. Er ist auch Geschäftsführer der tcworld GmbH.

Dr. Achim Steinacker verfügt über lange Erfahrung beim Aufbau von Metadatenmodellen im Umfeld von Content-Delivery-Projekten Als Bereichsleiter bei der Empolis Information Management GmbH unterstützt er den Einsatz von semantischen Technologien und iiRDS in den Standardprodukt Empolis Content Express und kundenspezifischen Projekten von Empolis.
