Language Operations (LangOps) combines multilingual communication and artificial intelligence (AI), ensuring that businesses interact effectively across global markets by managing and utilizing multilingual textual data. It leverages high-quality multilingual content and domain knowledge, aiding in the creation and maintenance of tools like large language models and multilingual knowledge systems. These tools, embedded in AI applications, navigate through diverse language landscapes, ensuring coherent and contextually relevant communication. LangOps enhances global communicative strategies and supports customer interaction and global operational efficacy.
In this presentation, the Language Operations concept, its benefits, and its impact are explained. In a second step, its implementation at Roche Diagnostics is presented, and experiences from the daily business are shared.
