The use of countless various tools for different tasks in everyday editorial work can drive technical writers to despair. Dometic has found a way to intuitively integrate terminology work into existing systems. Terminology processes are implemented with the Wrike project and task management tool. An open source terminology solution based on DITA XML is used to generate exchange formats such as MARTIF/TBX, Oxygen XML termchecker files, and a terminology browser. The company-specific terminology style guide describes theoretical foundation and – among other things – provides assistance with the creation of database entries. The terminology authoring support in Oxygen XML ensures standardized terminology based on the database entries.
